What kind of spots do you recommend?
A mix of iconic landmarks and hidden gems — shrines, temples, historic neighbourhoods, local markets, scenic nature spots, and more. I do not recommend hotels or accommodation.
Do you cover all of Japan, or just Tokyo and Kyoto?
All of Japan. From Hokkaido in the north to Okinawa in the south, including rural Tohoku, the hidden valleys of Shikoku, and the volcanic landscapes of Kyushu.
What is the difference between the plans?
The main difference is number of spots and depth of information. Basic ($25) includes 10 spots. Standard ($40) includes 20 spots with seasonal tips. Premium ($60) includes 30 spots with deep cultural context. Plan Review ($15) is for reviewing an existing itinerary you've already made.
Can I upgrade my plan after purchasing?
Yes, if you email me before your guide is delivered. Upgrades are not possible after delivery.
Do you offer refunds?
You pay nothing until you've told me about your trip and I've replied. After payment, you can still cancel for a full refund any time before I start writing. Once I've begun, refunds aren't available as this is a digital product made specifically for you.
Revision policy: Standard includes 1 free revision, Premium 2. Email me within 7 days of delivery and I'll update your guide.
How will I receive my guide?
As a beautifully designed PDF sent to your email. Easy to save on your phone and access offline.
How long does it take?
Within 3–5 business days after questionnaire submission. This is not an automated service — I take time with every guide.
Is the guide in English?
Yes, all guides are written in English. I also include the Japanese name and address for each spot.
I have dietary restrictions. Can you still help?
Absolutely. Mention any dietary requirements or allergies in your questionnaire.
What if I want changes after receiving my guide?
Standard plan includes 1 free revision and Premium includes 2 free revisions. Simply email me within 7 days of delivery with your feedback — I will update your guide accordingly. Basic plan customers can request a revision at a discounted rate.
