The person behind your guide
My name is Ken. I've spent my whole life in Japan — visiting shrines tucked away in mountain forests, eating at tiny ramen shops with no English menu, watching festivals that don't make it onto any tourist list. I know Japan not from a guidebook, but from living it every day.
When friends from abroad started asking me for travel advice, I noticed something: the information online was always the same. Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka. The same familiar spots. The same recommended restaurants. The real Japan — the one I know — was invisible.
My Japan Trip is my way of changing that. Every guide I create is a personal letter to a traveller, written with the same care I'd give a close friend visiting for the first time.
